Premium Garden Compost

Approximately 90% of the material will pass through a ½” screen, with all passing through a 1” screen. Average total nitrogen is 1.1% with a pH near 7.0 (neutral).  This product is dark brown to black and can be used as a top dressing for your planting beds, or tilled in to topsoil to improve tilth and water penetration, thereby improving root growth.  Just the right product to use in our native soils to help balance the growing environment, and to ensure the best possible growing conditions for plants to thrive.   Made and shipped to us from the Willamette Valley, this product is made to exacting standards that meet or exceed state regulations, and is tested for herbicides and pesticides.

Super Fine Compost

This is the "Cat's Meow" of compost products.  Super Fine has the look and feel of peat with much more to offer.   Super Fine is produced for us using the highest standards for quality control.  This product is required to reach 135 degrees for at least three days to ensure destruction of any possible errant weed seeds or pathogens.  Regular testing monitors NPK values, moisture and temperature, carbon to nitrogen ratios, pH and salt levels.  After more than 13 weeks of processing, the near finished product is processed once again through a 3/8" trommel screening plant.  This is to remove any oversized material not fit for the final product.  The screened, peat-like compost is then stockpiled again to cure.  Finally, the finished Super Fine Compost is put on a truck and shipped to us ready for use in your lawn or garden meet or exceed state regulations, and is tested for herbicides and pesticides.
